BROKEN SONGS (for broken people)- Album Review
About 18 years ago, a young man sat broken, saddened by the lost of not only his child but the loss of the relationship with the child’s mother. For a solid week, he sat in his room and the only music he listened to was that of an artist with the unique capability to tap into human emotion unlike most others.

APRIL 15th - TRIALS OF THE WRITER
- Official release
The first solo album by Johnny Indovina "Trials Of The Writer" will officially be released April 15th, 2014. Over three years in the making, Trials features Brian Stoltz (Bob Dylan, Neville Brothers, Linda Ronstadt, Funky Meters), Paul Allen (Big And Rich, Adele), Marc Ford (The Black Crowes)and 2009 Latin American Grammy Winner Ely Guerra on the Latin American edition.
Produced by Michael Rozon, Trials is a true concept album that deals with the life journey of a songwriter touching on the sacrifices of an artist's life, the importance of "the listener", the struggle to not bend the truth, and living with the weight of a catalog of work.
“The theme came to me pretty quickly… I wanted to explore the good, bad, ups and downs of a life writing songs. It was also my plan to research other artists… songwriters, novelists, poets and even painters. But I must admit, when all was said and done, it seems to be mostly about my life experiences, and how I feel at this point in my career, at my age, with so much work existing behind me. And how that work follows me around. It is always there. It exists. Artists give ideas and thoughts life. Those ideas and thoughts are always there. They live forever. They outlive the artists. John Lennon left, “Imagine” is still here”.
The other tracks include "I Love The Way You See The World" Alternate Version, and "The Truth Inside A Lie", a song that was written especially for this union.
